Heart’s Desire Designs is now located in Alberta. Valerie Unruh has self conceptualized and constructed wearable art pieces for over thirty years starting on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Valerie attended the Ontario College of Art in Toronto and passed with honors standing. Her heritage includes ceramic artists, fashion designers, painters, musicians, and a weaver.

With her genetically encoded talent and her love of nature, Valerie has devoted her past ten years allowing the Fairy Garden Collection of glass jewels to evolve into a refined art form. Utilizing her experience as a bridal florist, the development of her hand wired sculptural jewelry pieces is botanically themed.

Valerie is now working on a new line – The Mermaid Jewel Collection. These creations with bubbles and waves are now in motion are soon to be released.
