The intricate practice of detailed freehand line drawing began when I was four years old painting Pysanka with my family and years later I have found the same comfortable place decorating wheel thrown pottery.
Pottery production has become a way of life, living and breathing, thinking and designing every day.Ukrainian roots and culture permeates my pottery with practical designs and highly decorated surfaces.
My family established farming roots in Canada in 1906 and my primary influence for my designs is the natural surroundings of this beautiful country.
Biography Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the Ohio State University in 1990 was the springboard to launch a professional career as a potter.
