Holly founded Milk Jar to bring clean-burning, beautifully smelling candles to the local market, and to be a vehicle for giving back. $1 from every product sold is donated to programs and organizations that support inclusion and safe workplaces. Founded in 2016 with the mission to raise $500 the first year, it has blossomed to have made over $300,000 in donations since then.

Milk Jar is proud to model an inclusive hiring practice with a third of the staff living with a disability. We still make (incredibly awesome, plant-based and phthalate-free) candles, but we’ve also expanded to include reed diffusers and other fragrant goodies. Milk Jar remains a locally manufactured staple in Canadian apothecary, with stockists around the world.
