I started painting ceramics in 1980 in Regina, Saskatchewan. I learned how to paint different kinds of pieces from animals to dishes to Christmas tree decorations. As time went on, I began to paint more Christmas decorations. I have added baby pieces to my list of items. A few years later, my husband, Ed, learned how to pour ceramics. Since then, we do the entire process ourselves. Ed pours, cleans, and fires the ceramics in our kiln. I paint and decorate every piece. Our daughter, Jenna, helps by putting florals in certain pieces. We truly are a home-based, family business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4236,"template":"","meta":[],"artist_type":[4],"class_list":["post-4234","artist","type-artist","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","artist_type-ceramics"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artist\/4234","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artist"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/artist"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4236"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4234"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"artist_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/butterdome.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artist_type?post=4234"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
